The
Cottage is available to rent at any time of year. It is comprehensively equipped
sleeping eight in four bedrooms. Our prices are inclusive with no additional
charges for power, heating, or bed linen and towels.
Built on the site of an original Scottish croft house which was derelict beyond
repair, the design keeps the essential character of the old building whilst
incorporating the best of modern facilities.
The cottage is on the edge of the village of Carrbridge, which is 7 miles north
of Aviemore and 25 miles south of Inverness. It has a south facing aspect with
views over the valley from the terrace. The fields below the cottage run down
to the river Dulnain.
The cottage stands on its own terrace, the area around it being fenced or walled.
There is a grassed lower terrace for sitting or playing. There is parking adjacent
to the property for up to five cars. Facilities and access are provided for
disabled guests.
The Spey Valley and Cairngorms National Park is an area of outstanding natural
beauty. The Cairngorm mountains dominate the region providing a backdrop for
the forests, lochs, rivers and open country that give the area its unique attraction.
