The Horse House (with NO horses!)

The horse house is our second sitting room. It is hexagonal in shape with a vaulted wooden roof. The design is based on a traditional Scottish agricultural building.

The large windows and French doors overlook the terrace, making it light and sunny. The room has a storage heater that provides background heating. The wood burning stove also provides additional heat if required allowing you to enjoy the magnificent views even on cold winter days. The room has a lovely mahogany parquet floor and wicker furniture.

We have a large collection of books, games and jig-saw puzzles as well as some toys for young children.

You can pipe music from the stereo through switchable extension speakers.
